CANARISA NIPI ANAK AH LIAN CURB INLET IS A COMMON TYPE OF STORMWATER INLET OF THE URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEM WHICH FUNCTION TO INTERCEPT EXCESS STORMWATER ON THE STREET. THIS STUDY INVESTIGATING THE EFFICIENCY OF POROUS CURB INLETS IN AN URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEM UNDER VARIOUS CONDITIONS. THE PARAMETERS INVOLVED ARE APPROACHING FLOW, CROSS SLOPE, LONGITUDINAL SLOPE AND CURB ANGLE (3 DIFFERENT ANGLES). THE FINDINGS FOUND THAT SMALLER APPROACHING FLOW AND LARGER CROSS SLOPE CONTRIBUTE TO HIGHER INTERCEPTION EFFICIENCY FOR ALL TYPES OF CURB ANGLES. A LARGER LONGITUDINAL SLOPE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES INTERCEPTION EFFICIENCY. THE 60° ANGLE CURB TYPE DEMONSTRATED THE HIGHEST INTERCEPTION EFFICIENCY WHEN CONSIDERING A LONGITUDINAL SLOPE OF 1% AND A CROSS SLOPE OF 4% ON THE STREET. BY USING THE 60° ANGLE CURB WITH THE LOWEST CROSS SLOPE RESULTED IN A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN WATER DEPTH. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DEPTH AND THE EFFICIENCY OF THE 60-DEGREE CURB (IN %) AS A FUNCTION OF THE FLOWRATE (L/S) FOR THE CROSS SLOPE 4% AND LONG SLOPE 1% ALSO PROVES THAT DECREASED EFFICIENCY AS THE FLOWRATE INCREASED.
